Endowment Funding
The Club launched a highly successful capital campaign in 2004 to build a new facility to expand our offerings for kids to learn and grow. We’d now like to establish an endowment to provide a stable foundation that provides the resources our youth members need to succeed in life.
Why an endowment:
- To provide consistent support for important programs
- Make our most important programs permanent, and not totally dependent on the amount of annual fund support we can raise each year
- Provide income for ongoing maintenance of the Club’s facility
Our Successes:
- Our kids are graduating from high school and going on to college
- Our kids are making good decisions – avoiding teen pregnancy, drug and alcohol abuse, and gang violence
- Our kids are giving back to the community and serving as role models
- Our kids have goals and aspirations, and are achieving in the workplace

Ways to Give
The Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence provides private and vocational school counseling and scholarship assistance to members. More than 600 members have attended or are attending private prep schools and many have chosen to pursue training and at trade schools in preparation for careers in trades such as electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, mechanics, etc.
